The Harbor at Douglasville found Deficiency-Free!

Douglasville, Ga. (August 2025) — The Harbor at Douglasville, a boutique memory care community, celebrates a perfect score on their annual State Health Inspection. During their inspection, The Harbor was found to be Deficiency-Free, meaning that the community met full compliance with all regulations while meeting and exceeding all state standards for care, services and maintenance. The Harbor at Douglasville strives to provide the highest quality of care by operating with the mission of serving its residents with honor, respect, faith and integrity.

“We are very honored to have received a perfect score in our state survey. We couldn’t do it without our dedicated team members who work diligently each day to ensure a safe, comfortable, and home-like atmosphere for our residents. Receiving no violations in an unannounced state survey attests to the hard work and commitment from each of our team members,” says Oree Williams, Executive Director of The Harbor at Douglasville.

Every facet of care The Harbor provides is rooted in the desire to serve with love, respect and kindness. The Harbor provides personalized care plans for each resident that are based on memory care programs that focus on helping residents meet their highest potential each day. Residents also get to enjoy three chef-inspired meals a day, a full calendar of activities, housekeeping and laundry services and assistance with medication management.

Another service that makes The Harbor at Douglasville unique is the Alzheimer’s Support Services, led by Dr. Ron Harvard. This is a complimentary service for residents, their families and the Douglasville community. Harvard has first-hand experience caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s and spends his time being a resource to caregivers and families in need.
